VERONIKA VACULÍKOVÁ
Veronika Vaculíková is a movement performer, dancer, choreographer and director. She studied non-verbal theater at HAMU, completed an internship at the Paris school STUDIO MAGENIA and many workshops focused on dance, physical theater and film, e.g. David Hinton, Sumako Koseki, Philip Szporer, Sabine Seume, Derevo, Cirque Cahin-Caha and others. She has been a lecturer for a long time, teaches at DAMU, at the Budil Theater School and regularly conducts movement and creative workshops at dance and theater festivals, in primary art schools, etc. Her work is mainly her own, includes both theater productions, films and performances, but also collaborations with interesting personalities and institutions, e.g. the National Theatre, the Continuo Theatre, Iva Bittová, Emile Rafael, Joe Connor and others. With her short dance film Cycles, she won awards at international festivals in New York, Helsinki and Toronto.
